Council of Clubs

In recognition of the historic role that bicycle clubs played in the Coalition’s founding, The Council of Clubs was formed as an official part of the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition. It is comprised of bicycle clubs throughout the county that have been approved by the Council. . The purpose of the Council of Clubs is to provide guidance to the SDCBC’s Board of Directors and staff on bicycling issues of concern to the member clubs and to act as a forum for sharing information among member clubs and with the Board about those issues. All members of approved clubs are given automatic membership to SDCBC and the club shall be afforded an ex-officio seat on the Board, if they so choose.

The Council of Clubs generally meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every other month at 6pm. Currently all committee meetings are held on Zoom.

If your club is interested in joining the Council of Clubs, please contact Myles Pomeroy for more information on the Council and the application process.
